Suspect Wanted in Connection with Lincoln Street Shooting

Pittsfield Police Investigators have identified a suspect in the shooting that occurred at approximately 1:30 AM on Saturday, October, 31, 2015 on Lincoln Street in the City of Pittsfield.

On the basis of the ongoing investigation, on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, Pittsfield Police obtained an arrest warrant for Anthony E. Robertson, charging him with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Discharging a Firearm Within 500 feet of a dwelling and Carrying a Firearm Without a License. On the evening of Wednesday, November 4, surveillance units of the Pittsfield Police Department located Robertson. The suspect led officers on a vehicle pursuit, before abandoning his vehicle and leading officers on a foot pursuit and evading capture.

Robertson remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Robertson is described as a black male, 33 years of age, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has black hair that he wears in dreadlocks and brown eyes. Robertson is known to use the street name “Dollar.”

Anyone with information about Anthony E. Robertson’s location is encouraged to call the Pittsfield Police Detective Bureau at 413-448-9705. Anyone coming across Mr. Robertson should not approach him. Call 911 immediately and report the sighting. Again, Anthony E. Robertson is wanted in connection with an open shooting investigation and is considered armed and dangerous.
