High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Division leaders are working with members of the drug unit, anti-crime unit, the crime analyst, and Berkshire County Law Enforcement Agencies to get Pittsfield and Berkshire County recognized as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area.
A HIDTA designation would give Pittsfield and Berkshire County the opportunity to receive additional federal support and resources.
